    A retired school teacher, Mrs. Pashley had lived at Frankfort RD3 for the past 32 years and formerly resided in Oneonta.

    Mrs. Pashley, who was a graduate of the Oneonta Normal School, played the organ in the East Schuyler United Methodist Church for 25 years prior to her death.

    She was a member of the East Schuyler United Methodist Church, the W.S.C.S. of the church and the East Schuyler Grange.

    Surviving are a son, Robert Pashley Jr., and her mother, Mrs. Lillian Powell, both of Frankfort RD3; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews."12,13,10

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Tilley Funeral Home, Mount Vision, with the Rev. Calvin Zimmer, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Brick Schoolhouse Cemetery, Frankfurt.

    Mr. Pashley was born in Burlington June 15, 1877, son of Robert J and Sarah A Pashley. He was twice married. His first wife was Chloe Walling, who died in 1911. In 1930, he married Bessie Powell of east Schuyler, who survives. He had been a resident of East Schuyler for 18 years.

    Also surviving are a son, Robert Joseph, and a sister, Mrs. Elva Parker, Edmeston.

    For over 50 years, Bob owned and operated the RJ Pashley Body Shop in Schuyler. He had a strong commitment to the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department where he served for 18 years. Part of those years he was also Assistant Fire Chief.

    Bob will be most remembered for his devotion to working hard and caring and helping others. He was an avid outdoors-man who enjoyed hunting and working with equipment.

    It was Bob's request that his funeral service be private. There are no calling hours.

    Expressions of sympathy may be made with memorial donations to the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department, 120 Newport Road, Utica, NY 13502.
