    Litchfield was born in Mondovi and married Dolores Rozmenoski Sept. 21, 1965. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a captain in the Army Air Corps and was a prisoner of war in Germany for 10 months during World War II. He owned and operated Litchfield truck Sales and Service, Eau Claire, for 35 years.

    Survivors include three daughters, Robin Decker, sierra Vista, Ariz., Susan Maki, Tucker, Ga., Cathryn Litchfield, Minneapolis, Minn.; a stepdaughter, Deborah Olson, Black River Falls; three stepsons, John Brower, Bruce Brower, both of Black river Falls, James Brower, Colorado; four sisters, Lorraine Willson, Eau Claire, Erna Olson, Topeka, Kan., Doris Herrick, Osseo, Lois Bodeau, Minneapolis; a brother, Donald, Eau Claire; and 11 grandchildren.

    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

    Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Fuller Funeral and an hour before services at the church."1,4,2
