    He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.

    He was a Methodist.

    He is survived by his wife, Katherine V. Taylor; one daughter, Constance L. Mechs of Naples, Fla.; three sons, Richard M. Taylor of Las Vegas, Robert Taylor of Naples, and Ronald Taylor of Cedar City, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank A. Taylor.

    A memorial service will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Ravenwood Nursing Care Center. The Rev. Wayne L. Schwanke will officiate.

    There will be no visitation.

    Arrangements are by Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, Hagerstown."1
