  • Death: She died of leukemia on 19 September 2009 at age 69 in Woodland, Cowlitz County, Washington, United States. "Judith M. (Peru) Booth of Woodland was born July 12, 1940, to Loran and Edith Peru of Longview. Judy lost her five-year battle with leukemia Sept. 19, 2009.

    She graduated from R.A. Long High School and obtained an Associate's Degree in Para Legal from Lower Columbia College.

    Judy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Gary Booth; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Diana Booth of Woodland and Daniel and Helen Booth of Federal Way; two grandchildren, Elijah and Tessa Booth, both of Federal Way; and a sister, Holly Peru of Albuquerque, N.M.

    Judy was an inspiration to her family and all who knew her with her courage and enduring strength in fighting this devastating disease.

    A private family service will be held.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Home Health & Hospice, P.O. Box 2067, Longview, WA 98632.
