Tweed in the town of Unity, Trempealeau County, on May 23, 1941. They lived in La Crosse until 1969 when they moved to Lansing, Iowa. Florence and Merlin moved to Eau Claire in 1987, several years after his retirement. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

    Survivors include her husband, Merlin; two sons, John (Jo) of Winter Park, Colo., and Thomas (Hannelore) of Gig Harbor, Wash.; and four grandsons, Andy and Ben of Gig Harbor, Wash., and Matt and Josh of Winter Park, Colo.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Ray, Vic and Bjarne Norheim; and two sisters, Myrtle Westley and June Enerson.

    Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, with Pastor Jeanne L. Warner officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, Eau Claire, is serving the family
