He was a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and served as a fighter control officer. He was a consultant and Senior VP at the Psychological Corp. in NY, and later co-founded a consulting firm. Dr. Morgan was a Fellow in the American Psychological Assn. and a Diplomate in Counseling Psychology. In retirement, Dr. Morgan wrote Four Pioneer Families of Minnesota and Their Puritan and Quaker Heritage. He was involved with the Minnesota Historical Society and was a lifetime supporter of the Ramsey County Hist. Soc., Salvation Army, Metropolitan Museum, and Univ. of MN. Foundation. Henry was known for his delightful poetry and rich sense of humor. A memorial service will be held at Unity Unitarian Church, 732 Holly Avenue., Saint Paul, on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to The Univ. of Mn. Foundation, McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak St. S.E., Ste. 500, Minneapolis, MN 55455."4,2

    Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. on Sunday.

    Mr. Daniels died early Friday morning at St. Michael's Hospital.

    He was born at Black Creek on July 4, 1911, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman J Daniels. The family moved to Stevens Point when he was nine years old and he attended schools here. He was employed briefly by A. L. Shafton Co. before he worked for Northwest Liquor Co. A warehouse foreman, he retired in 1969.

    His firs wife was Verdilla Mielke and after she died he married Anita Manske on Jan. 23, 1960.

    He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Judith) Sorenson, Seminole, Fla.; five grandchildren, and three brothers, Robert, Cape Coral, Fla., Fay, Iron River, Mich. and Gordon, 1124 Shaurette St.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and a sister.

    Memorial funds have been established in his name of the American Cancer Society and for Frame Memorial United Presbyterian Church."1,4
